Sew excited

To have bought our first sewing machine today! And what a lovely experience it was - thank you to the very helpful ladies at the Exeter Sewing Machine Company, an amazing haberdashery treasure trove in which we could happily spend hours rifling through their pretty fabrics and buttons. So here she is, the Brother Innovis A10, all pink, white and 70s chic. Hopefully this will speed up our rate of production, and enable us to use lots of pretty new stitches and thread combinations. Currently practising on an old pillow case before unleashing the machine on our precious cloth creatures. Couldn't help buying a few meters of pretty new fabrics too, including a couple that are perfect for our Tom Cats.
